Kristina Knight, CFA

At Akras, Kristina focuses on asset management, due diligence and provides underwriting support for our acquisition efforts. 

An experienced portfolio and asset manager, Kristina brings over a decade of experience working in the capital markets, having worked with large institutional clients and spent the majority of her career focused on analyzing the housing market and various types of real estate investments. 

Prior to founding Akras, Kristina was a Senior Analyst, trader and assistant Portfolio Manager at Longfellow Investment Management Company ($10+ Billion AUM). In this role, she oversaw the firm’s $1 Billion Agency Mortgage Portfolio strategy, and managed over 30 separate accounts to ensure the client needs and objectives were met. She began her investment management career at State Street Global Markets, where she worked in the structured products group. 

Kristina studied Finance and Management at top ranked D’Amore-Mckim School of Business at Northeastern University in Boston.  As a Chartered Financial Analyst, she is also a member of the CFA institute.

While living in Boston, she also pursued continuing education in communication and leadership, completing the intensive year-long Team Management and Leadership Program. 

An avid traveler and certified yoga teacher, Kristina is always looking for new places to explore and push her limits. Additionally, she is passionate about empowering women and in 2019 founded the Women Real Estate Network (WREN) group to contribute to the nationwide community of female real estate investors.
